Electrical engineers are in the top 10 percent of job seekers in the United States, according to a new survey of U.S. job seekers.
In the last decade, there has been a surge in hiring for electrical engineers.
The United States is the second-highest-paying country in the world for electrical engineering, behind the U.K., according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
But it’s not just job seekers who are drawn to the field.
A recent study of the jobs in the U: Electrical and Computer Engineers (ECE) by consulting firm Mercer found that nearly a third of engineers in the profession are women.
That’s up from just a quarter of engineering hires a decade ago.
Mercer said the rise in female hires is partly due to the gender wage gap, which is more pronounced in female-dominated fields.
Mercer found the average hourly pay for a female ECE employee is $8.16 per hour, while for a male is $11.71.
While it’s a sign that the field is growing, the survey didn’t say why.
It’s unclear if the wage gap in the field can be attributed to more female applicants or to the fact that women have historically been less likely to take jobs in areas like engineering.
“The fact that the pay gap has gone down means that people are hiring more women, and it’s just a matter of how much they are willing to pay,” said John Wessels, a professor of economics at the University of Washington and the author of the report.
Wessels says the ECE field has “seen a steady rise in hiring since the 1980s.”
He said that, while the current pay gap is about $2.5 million a year, it’s expected to be closer to $10 million in 2019.
There’s a reason why the ECP is growing.
Wessel is also bullish on the industry.
“In the long run, the ECHP will have a huge impact on the economy,” he said.
But for now, he says it’s up to companies to hire more people and improve the quality of their work.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) says that there are a total of about 6,300 electrical and computer engineering students in the country.
There are also a total number of 9,600 electrical and mechanical engineers.
The current salary for an electrical engineer is $58,200 per year, according the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The median salary for the profession is $54,800.
But the job market is far from rosy.
According to a 2015 survey by Mercer, the top job postings for electrical and electronics engineers are still relatively empty.
“I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing,” said Greg Kudla, a senior vice president at Mercer and one of the authors of the survey.
“We are going to have to continue to have good-paying jobs for people.”
But there’s no guarantee that that will happen anytime soon.
The United States still ranks 30th out of 31 countries for the number of job openings for electrical technicians, according a 2016 study by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
A study by Mercer found there are about 2.4 million people in the jobless list, down from 3.4 last year.
That means that just under half of the total unemployed in the OECD country are electrical technicians.
“The U. S. has been out of work for more than a year,” said Daniel Voss, director of the Institute for Economic Policy Research at the Brookings Institution.
“It’s a long time to be unemployed.
And it’s something we’re not going to get out of this.”
